Welcome! You’ve joined Excelerate America, so now’s the time to learn how to take full advantage of our offerings. Here’s a quick overview of what we do for our members and how you can get the most out of your membership.

What’s a GPO? 

A group purchasing organization, or GPO, is a group of businesses or organizations that come together to buy goods or services from vendors and suppliers at a discounted price. The goal of a GPO is to leverage the buying power of multiple organizations and achieve lower prices, better terms, and higher quality products or services.

⁠At Excelerate America we believe in empowering businesses through strategic procurement. Our GPO combines the collective strength of our members and our vendor partnerships with knowledge-sharing tactics.

8 Ways to get the most out of your GPO

1. Choose programs that work for your business: 

Explore our buying programs above and find savings opportunities that work for your business. It’s easy and free to activate a program at any time on your member dashboard.

2. Complete your account setup:

Once you’ve activated a program, make sure you follow instructions to set up your buying program accounts. Each program has unique steps you need to take to ensure you’re getting our negotiated pricing. We’ll also send you program-specific emails with easy instructions

3. Complete your profile:

On your member dashboard, you’ll find My Profile. It’s important that you input accurate information and contact info so we can best meet your needs and communicate offerings and updates effectively.

4. Create a buying plan:

After you’ve set up your GPO membership and account, it’s time to create a buying plan to maximize your savingsHere’s how to get your buying plan started:

5. Stay engaged to optimize savings:

To stay engaged and informed about your buying program’s pricing, specials, and information, visit your dashboard regularly. This is where we showcase current promos, post articles and news about your programs, and keep you up-to-date. We’ll also send you regular communications, so save us in your contacts to avoid missing out on savings opportunities.

6. Check in on your savings:

If you purchase through our ODP Business Solutions program, you can see your savings snapshot on your program page. This data-driven report gives you insight into your purchasing activity from the previous 90 days. It covers total spend, estimated savings, program core utilization, category spread, and purchasing frequency. This is a great tool to fine-tune your purchasing and overall savings.

7. Give feedback to improve your GPO:

Don’t see what you’re looking for? Want different offerings? We love feedback! Throughout the year, we’ll run member surveys, so you can easily share your opinions and help shape the future of your GPO. This helps us better serve you and your business, and member participation makes our entire group stronger.

8. Get help when you need it:

Our team is here for you. We advocate on your behalf and can communicate issues with our vendor partners, so let us work our connections to improve your purchasing experience. We offer a Help Center on the dashboard with FAQ. You can also directly contact us there to send a message or request a call.
